Mongo’s Birth
One day, a boy was sitting in class and started dozing off because he didn’t eat enough vegetables the night before.
He had a dream about an orange creature, and when he woke up, he decided to draw what he saw in his dream. The orange creature had short stubby legs, long arms, and a big goofy smile. He used his favorite orange crayon to color in the creature, making sure to stay within the lines.
He brought his drawing home and proudly displayed it on the refrigerator for his dad to see. When his dad came home, he proudly exclaimed, “Wow, what a magnificent drawing of a creature! Is he a mango?”The boy laughed and said, “He’s not a Mango! But I think we should call him Mongo!” The dad then took a picture of Mongo on his iPhone, and suddenly, Mongo came to life!
Because he was on the refrigerator, Mongo was hungry and started eating junk food, which made him sick.
Then the boy taught Mongo to eat more fruits and vegetables and Mongo became happy. The boy also decided to eat more vegetables, and since then, he’s been wide awake in class!
Every day, after school, the boy comes home to play with Mongo and teach him new things on the iPhone. Every day, Mongo learns something new, and he’s learning faster than ever with so many children around the world teaching Mongo how to eat better! More adventures await Mongo!
